How EverSafe Packages and Delivers Your Battery Backup Power System

Because EverSafe invests in robust components and high-capacity batteries, our battery backup systems are too bulky and heavy for standard parcel services like UPS or FedEx.

Instead, we rely on less-than-truckload (LTL) freight, ensuring your system arrives intact, on time, and handled professionally. Here’s how we manage the process:

  1. Inspection & Testing
Once each unit is assembled, we perform a rigorous quality check to verify it’s functioning perfectly.
  2. Secure Packaging
Your new battery backup system is tightly wrapped and placed on a pallet to ensure safe transit.
  3. Transport
A freight carrier collects the palletized unit from our warehouse and delivers it to you.

Delivery Options

We offer several shipping tiers tailored to different needs:

  • Economy: Basic LTL freight with dock-to-dock delivery.
  • Economy Plus: LTL freight including a liftgate for easier unloading.
  • White Glove: Premium, comprehensive delivery including inside placement and removal of packaging.
  • Local Delivery: Service available for locations within about 90 miles of our Brewster, NY facility.

What’s Included:

  • Estimated shipping and delivery pricing
  • Information on preferred carriers
  • Delivery method specifics
  • Notes on any special delivery requirements

Understanding the Cost to Ship

Each EverSafe system is custom-built, so shipping costs vary. Generally, the more extensive (and heavier) the system, the higher the shipping charge—especially since individual batteries can weigh around 70 pounds

We maintain a pricing chart that provides estimates for different shipping methods, but costs can shift depending on:

  • Carrier availability
  • Current freight rates
  • Other logistical factors

We may switch carriers to optimize delivery time and cost. If you have a preferred shipping provider, feel free to let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate

Shipping Tier Breakdown

Economy Shipping

This is our most budget-friendly option. Your unit arrives secured to a pallet and wrapped. You’ll need a loading dock and a team to:

  • Remove wrapping
  • Offload from the pallet
  • Relocate the system to its final spot

Typical cost ranges from $200 to $650, depending on distance from Brewster, NY, system size, and current rates

Economy Plus Shipping

Ideal for locations without a loading dock. The delivery truck will lower the pallet to the ground via liftgate (but not bring it inside). Your team must:

  • Move the unit inside
  • Unwrap the system
  • Set it up in its intended location

Pricing generally falls between $300 and $750, roughly $100 more than Economy—depending on the same variables

White Glove Shipping

This is our most comprehensive delivery. Perfect for mobile backup systems, which are heavy and arrive fully assembled (ranging from about 150 to 765 pounds, with wheels secured for transit)

The delivery team will:

  • Remove the system from the pallet
  • Bring it indoors
  • Unwrap it and dispose of packing materials

Pricing may be 2–3 times higher than standard Economy shipping. Our recommended carriers for this service are Tech Trans or United Van Lines

Tenants stuck upstairs, customers unable to reach you, staff hauling goods by stairs—every minute of downtime chips away at revenue, reputation, and safety. Traditionally, a diesel generator handled this risk. Today, battery-based backup offers a quieter, cleaner, […]

How EverSafe Backup Systems Let Your Team Actually Enjoy the Holidays

The holiday season is supposed to bring a sense of pause — a rare moment when manufacturing floors go quiet, facility teams breathe a little deeper, and operations leaders finally step away from the nonstop rhythm of production schedules. Yet for many industrial facilities, the weeks between Thanksgiving and New Year’s aren’t a break at […]
